It's ok, didn't grab me like Nostalgia did. I listened to that several times in a row and this one I've maybe listened 3 times total

I'm guessing I'll really like it as a part of the whole. Something to break the album up. It's hard to put it head-to-head with a track like Nostalgia Kills when you're just talking singles, though.

I love it tbh, all three songs are just as good as most of the tracks here.

I’m so stoked. A string of amazing singles, a great EP, and two modern emo classics (I mean cmon, it’s gonna be amazing lol) under their belts. Best band going at it and they’re playing my favorite little dive. This is the kind of shit that makes me think maybe there is a god.

I keep missing these guys every time they come to Denver and now they're playing Red Rocks. Honestly so well deserved

Same. Certain venues are way better for certain bands and I'd need a pit for this one. Still cool to see them moving up the ranks without any gimmicky bs

With the new album dropping soon and a show here coming up, me and a buddy have been talking about them a lot and I kinda want more input. I was wondering what sets them apart from the pack, like normally I’d pass on some myspace era-ish emocore band like them. Their songwriting isn’t really that out there, so many of their tracks follow a pretty standard verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus structure, and I think it’s literally just because they’re so goddamn good at it, Vincent/Contrast/Whatever especially. I can’t think of a single throwaway riff in any song that he’s been a part of, and it helps that Olli is such a versatile vocalist with some pretty good pengame. The rhythm section is also rock fucking solid.

My friend was kinda shocked that I said they’re my favorite band at the moment, along with Converge, and I think it’s just because he knows how much I love Converge.

If this new album is as good as it’s shaping up to be, I dunno man, they should just be so much more popular. I’m very glad I get to see them in my favorite venue, it’s just a little dive with good sound, because I think these guys thrive in that setting, but they should be playing 2000-5000 cap club style venues by now.

I’m really eating shit because not long after this dropped I really thought they’d be one of the biggest young rock bands going at it, and they’re just… not. It’s kinda unbelievable to me.

You know, I've thought about that a lot myself. I mean, I'm a sucker for this sound anyway, but these guys are absolutely special. I think, for me, it's sort of hard to explain, but it's actually pretty simple. Everything is catchy. I think almost every part of every song has been stuck in my head at some point. The drum parts are fun to tap along to, the riffs are bouncy and dynamic and carry a good melody, and the vocals are hooky as hell. And all of this without sounding overly clean or sterile. I think that actually hurts them as far as their popularity. As a listener, there's a layer of grime over everything, and most people won't get past that. I love it, personally. It makes everything feel more genuine. Pick slides and panic chords and feedback and gritty vocal production and abrasive electronic bits.
