Still think I Can Tell You About Pain is one of the best Converge songs ever.

converge is still one of if not the most consistent hardcore/metalcore band.

Being able to deliver such quality releases over this time span is astounding. Their most melodic record for sure but I agree that this is more a collection of mostly great songs rather than a cohesive record

After finishing my re-run of their discog (except debut cause fuck debut) my album rankings have changed a bit

All We Love>Jane>Axe>You Fail Me>Petitioning>When Forever>No Heroes>Dusk

Idk where it would go though

Taking out the title track and slapping eve on at the end is the best I can think of

You Fail Me is probably my #1. The redux album is excellent. I also find No Heroes grows on me a lot. But I do think this album is one of their best.

Pretty good. First and second half of the song are almost like two different songs haha.

Fuckin loved this album. Honestly the only Converge album I could get into, and heavily I got into it.

People love to shit on No Heroes, I don't get it. That record has some utterly amazing material on it. First 4 songs are brutal as fuck. Has some really creatively melodic material like Bare My Teeth and Orphan.

No Heroes easily rivals ATF and is better than anything Converge released in the last decade.

This is how I felt about All We Love and it helped get into their back catalog. Those two albums definitely seem more accessible without sacrificing integrity

I think AWL is better but only by a little. Definitely beats this though.

AWL appears to be the quintessential Converge gateway drug and for good reason.

Yeah the Converge track was above average in comparison to this, below average vs their better material. I liked it though.

The soundtrack does have a couple of other decent cuts on it.
