Yeah can't really be understated how much Blake adds to the bands sound. Never really noticed this until playing some of their songs on clone hero... but Paul and Dustie repeat the same riffs a lot more often then it seems when just listening. It's Blake that makes everything sound so chaotic and unhinged by changing up his drum patterns every five seconds. Decade of Statues is pretty good example.

I pretty much destroy my Roland kit trying to do the fills in obfuscation on rock band, song is relentless on drums. Blake is definitely one of my favorite drummers.

Finally listened to this. I already feel Coma Ecliptic and Automata in here, but this still more in the TGM kind of vein. Not a big fan of the clean vox on their later album, but this was great. Songwriting felt a bit like Scenes From A Memory in some places and that's always a good thing

I've wanted to do a comic book styled music video for the full album for years but no way do I have the time nor talent for that, if you dont know what I mean about comic styles MV search Gravemind - The Death of Teyolia MV on YT that's the art style I have in mind

First time with BTBAM. This style of prog-metalcore has yet to really click with me but this album's still filled with really cool moments.

Guess I have to listen to a bit more. Not sure which of theirs to check next, though.

I’d probably recommend the great misdirect or colors next. Can’t really go wrong with any of their stuff.

Yea I actually prefer the ep to this. Lunar wilderness and specular reflection rule.

I like this a lot more, mostly due to the P E R F E C T production. Jamie King is such a beast

This album rules a little harder than their 4.5 material. I see why people 5ed this
