Of course it will doof dude. It'll also make future 1000 albums to hear before you die lists because we've all been reduced to one brain celled cretins tapping our feet to nonsense while sipping macchiatos.

it's pop music, it's not that serious guys. it isn't something you're supposed to philosophize about the origins of pluto or w/e to

They've made you think like that dude. What hapoens next? Pop flim flam is heralded as the cutting edge. Awards are bestowed, cutout clones are revered, the soul dies.

"Wolfy do you realise how fucking wanky that sounds"
That was intentional. Swallowing your own medicine and somesuch.
"Don't insult Australia like that"
Hey, I don't NEED to insult Australia. Your last PM, detention camps in the desert and bogans already do that for me.

I come from the land of mustaches, cars, perpetual over the top seriousness and extermination of all juice, marxy marx' posse and I really couldn't care less.
I already give people shit for their regional patriotism.

I have no problem with it either but I defs think that a sense of self-awareness is needed.
For example, I love how our gun laws are literally being used as the perfect definition of gun control rn. Or how working a checkout job gives us $20 an hour (srs).
But to say we don't have our shitty qualities would be stupid.
Good ol racism, violence, laughably inept politics and shitty tourists just to name a few. Oh, and that fucking dumbass free trade agreement with China.

Earning $20 means nothing when your sausages cost $17 and taste rank.

Well yeah, that's definitely true. You can't cherrypick this and that, you gotta see the whole picture. What's so terrible about that FTA with China (apart from creating super dumb legal situations in which companies can sue the state for prospective profits).
Oh yeah, Australia has also had some of the most effective anti-smoking and alcohol campaigns I've seen so far. I really dug the whole "How to drink properly" thing.
"Earning $20 means nothing when your sausages cost $17 and taste rank."
Yeah, it actually does because it doesn't entirely scale. Economic prospects in Australia are a zillion times better than in any other Anglosaxon country. Also, werent you Australian too? Or am I confusing someone here.

Nobody does drinking quite like the Germans. I'll have a stein and oompah music please. Quality!

Eh, our drinking culture is partially quite overrated. Oktoberfest is overrated and expensive as hell - attracting super wealthy international guests doesn't make the gentrification problem of Munich any better, either. Most pubs are controlled by the big brewing conglomerates - most of which have factually watered down their beers.
Beer gardens and the general "locally crafted" culture (regional breweries and shit) is pretty cool, though. Oh, and Mead. Mead is super awesome.

I was in Munich a few years back. I bloody loved it, where are you from Wolfy?

Idk what sausages u buy. Most of our meat is of extremely high quality.
Our cost of living does tend to scale to compensate for our unusually high wages but it's not as bad as people overseas make it out. But considering we don't need to tip in order to get by and have Medicare (read:free healthcare) I'm not complaining.
I up paying $15 Aud for smokes here and that's considered cheap for smokes.
