But even so, if its a different genre that I wouldn't be used to I just try acquire the taste. Like what I did for Radioheads Kid A, I can see how this seems a bit more difficult though.

Let's be real, just because this is influenced by Camel, KC, etc, doesn't mean it sounds ANYTHING like those bands.
This record is superb, but you've got to take it for what it is and stop trying to find the Camel, etc, etc, etc, because frankly it isn't there.
