Can't believe how bad the vocals on My Friend of Misery are. Who could listen to that without laughing?

I would say a vast majority of listeners, but such is life in the elite.

I always thought it was the weakest song on the album bc the lyrics and vocals are lame, and I'm pretty sure that's because the words were thrown in at the very last minute. it was supposed to be an instrumental until bob rock declared it couldn't be.

Even though I was never a massive fan this is without question one of the most monumental albums I’ve witnessed.

A true classic.

i think this is my favorite drum sound of all time. such great pop. jumps out so much and fits the anthemic nature of the album so well.

Guess I've got the worst Metallica takes ever across the board with Load being my #2 and the last three here EASILY being my favorite on the record.

Great album. This one grows on me the older I get. I've always loved the softer mellow metallica songs and you get 3 great ones here. The unforgiven, nothing else matters and my friend of misery. Wherever I may roam is a personal favorite of mine then holier then thou, sandman,of wolf and man, and through the never all rip too. It's also got a 11/10 god tier production job...When it comes to more meat and potatoes straightforward metal this is about as good as it gets.

like every metallica album after master this one suffers from being too long. that said there are quite a few rippers here.

Album is incredibly overrated for the most part but it is still pretty good.
