Possibly my most played album of all time and maybe 90% of those plays were before I turned 13, thing is legendary

I revisited this today and it aged pretty well. The B-side is banger after banger. And it's kinda unusual but my favorite track is still "Think About You". It's kinda cheesy but I like it a lot.

The 2s are not disgusting. In fact, they may just be correct

Axl's voice alone prevents this from being any higher than a 2.5, that's for sure

If I could add voice notes to sput threads it’d be over for you bitches with all the Axl Rose impressions I’d do.

let's be real, most Axl impersonators genuinely sound less grating than Axl himself tbh

I mean, you could always use Vocaroo 🤷

Vocaroo's cool af, I use it to upload my demos to help the rest of my band who don't have the greatest setup record vocal tracking for our songs (they run iPhones, not Androids)

this is one of those albums my family tried to make me like but i genuinely could never, even when i was younger, remember a single second of the lesser known numbers and the big hits at this point make me want to shove icepicks in my ears and lose all my hearing, so overplayed. no hyperbole, if i never hear welcome to the jungle ever again, it'll be too soon.

i was generally pretty accepting of their taste at that point too, i used to like ac/dc, i still like metallica and megadeth, i still jam astro-creep every now and again, i even regrettably tolerated their kid rock fix they used to have before he went all trumpie. but i could never fully sit through this and say i liked it, even back then.

the only gnr song i can stomach anymore is november rain

My family didn’t like them so it just made them cooler.

yah that prob was the missing link. my family (especially my dad) was all over this album back in the day, and it feels wrong that i couldn't pinpoint a single song that wasn't already egregiously overplayed to the point of frustration, none of it stuck in the memory long enough to even have a lasting impression no matter how much i tried
