As good as this is and as phenomenal as Black Rose Immortal is the album is still not as good as Orchid in atmosphere, riffs or twiddly Opethy bits.

He's got a point though. This album and Orchid do feel a bit jumbled and unfocused compared to later records imo. Doesn't mean I don't still think they're excellent though
