Haha well I appreciate it, these ARE the Tennessee Titans so I expect the usual fall from brief grace.
Levis is going to be given a real test by the Steeler's D. Trial by fire type stuff. I say full speed ahead, we gotta figure out what we've got with him. At this point, Ryan is a known commodity, Willis is a known commodity. Give Levis the keys and don't look back regardless of if he's struggling.

I want Amazon Al Michaels to make a kissing titties reference so bad, especially if he’s playing vs the Tits

Michaels needs to retire, dude sounds devoid of any life nowadays and it's sad to see.
Might still be somewhat unpopular, but the premier announcing duo is Buck and Aikman. Has been for quite a few years now. Joe had plenty of lowlights early on when he was finding his footing, but the guy has really come into his own and absolutely defines prime time for me. His chemistry with Troy feels authentic, like they absolutely enjoy calling games together. They've got a great sense of humor on top of that, what with Joe's dry quips and Troy's unbridled critiques when he seems crappy QB play.
Their best asset is the fact that, many times, they pull off the underrated skill of NOT talking. They let the moment speak for itself. Announcers like Romo could never. Like, the Minneapolis Miracle call is made in part by Buck's call and in part by how, right after the call, you hear nothing but the crowd noise. It's electric.
It's gonna be a sad day when they call it quits. No NFL duo is close to them. Hopefully fans realize eventually what we've got before it's gone. The annoucing for the Titans v. Falcons game was miserable.

I’ve always liked Aikman but Buck has really grown on me a bit over the last few years. I was a huge Buck fan when he does baseball but thought he was bad for football but he seems to have taken a more carefree attitude and I love his dynamic with Troy.
Nantz and Romo have kind of fallen off but they pretty much exclusively do Chiefs and Bills at this point.
I’m a big Ian Eagle and Kevin Harlan fan as well. I also thing Greg Olson is improving a lot too

I'd be all for Harlan being the new national guy, but I think the NBA has him wrapped up pretty comfortably. Sadly can't get prime time from him.
Romo had one good year and has been high on his own farts ever since, I spend most of the broadcast begging for him to shut up lol
OOOOOOHHHHHHH JIM I DUNNO JIM

Harlan is definitely the top dog for play-by-play but as a duo it's gotta be Buck & Aikman. it used to be Nantz & Romo but Romo fell off hard. feel like CBS told him to stop predicting every play so now he just spews obnoxious superlatives re: Mahomes/Burrow/Allen all the time. hearing him try to force "Josh Allen the Alien" nickname last year made me wish i wasn't born with ears

Yeah Romo needs to seriously tone it down with those QBs it’s super obnoxious and manufactured. Still love Nantz though.
Harlan is def tied up with NBA but rightfully so because he’s the modern goat.

Even when he'd try to predict plays, I felt he just talked on and on and on. He made moments about himself rather than the teams, fans, etc. Barring a significant shift, I don't see him changing his ways.
"Allen the Alien" was awful but the memes since then have *almost* made up for it, especially if the Bills continue to fall short in the playoffs lol

agreed that buck/aikman is the best current duo and i'm mad they're stuck with that horrid MNF schedule... even though they seem to have much more leeway to say whatever they want now at ESPN now that they're making more than most of the players. i just never watch mnf.
michaels/collinsworth is prob my all time favorite. al is the goat and collinsworth is as insightful as he is meme-able.
super underrated: tirico and gruden on MNF for the bulk of the 2010s. tirico is too polished next to the already super-polished collinsworth imo, but he was perfect next to unhinged gruden.

i also sort of enjoy when eisen and warner call the europe games. there's something very understated about it, like they really try to emphasize the crowd noise and the sound from the field and only really say what needs to be said and its kinda soothing. feels like watching golf or tennis almost

ngl i felt much better about this game before i saw levis play. nobody really drives down the field on us, but we've given up a lot of explosive plays and long TDs. didn't have that worry facing tannehill, but that seems to be exactly levis's game.

Thankfully Kelly and Vrabel opened the playbook for Levis and let him just sling it all game long. He's unquestionably got the arm strength to the put the ball anywhere on the field, which is real exciting if he can keep developing. Fully expect a dogfight regardless.

I don't even know if he'd be happy about the win or would somehow perceive it as an omen. The man has been broken lol
