Halo isn’t very good, but at least it isn’t complacent.

I dont see how this is complacent.

whether or not you like the tracks themselves is one thing, but Murk and Marrow, Trigger, and Thousands of Miles Between Us are new territory for the band.

And Single Tear, Arkhipov Calm, and I Can Tell You About Pain are still energetic as fuck.

Album is just a weird mixed bag. A collection of songs.

Been listening through their disco again. No single bad record, everyone rips. Incredible band.

the umbra vitae song is sick. kind of funny how that band is 3/5 of WYW

according to their website, Umbra Vitae was started during WYW rehearsals, so that probably explains it :p

yeah - i more meant funny because this is so much better than anything on the last WYW release - probably because this style is more in their wheelhouse

I thoroughly enjoy Wear Your Wounds latest release, while not being overly swept away by this new band, so disagree with you there. (Wear Your Wounds debut I'm less of a fan of though, motly because the singing is simply too weak)

i feel like even if there are some death metal sounding instrumentation with this project it will never sound like death metal to a lot of people based on bannon's vocals alone
