THE NEW SONG IS FUCKING AMAZING.
There you go. The man is not gonna growl again, let's face it. Cool thing about it is that it packs a punch in spite of that. It sounds like Opeth.

Ah they put the 5.1 mix in an expensive boxset again, goddamn NB. Why can't they just give CD+DVD again? grr

Yeah, love it. It's growing on me already, love the psych-freak out in the middle. Track is really colourful.

Guitar and drums were great as usual. Maybe they’re bleach fans because that black white masked thing looked like it was straight from the anime/manga

Both versions are excellent, but I particularly enjoyed the swedish one a little bit more.

It's hard for me to judge tbh, I listened to both versions now and I just have to let it sink in.

Wait, the new song actually sounds like Opeth? Maybe like Watershed w/o the growls? I swear, that's all that I could ask for from these guys at this point; just not another half-baked, 70s prog imitation

Mike's refrains on the Swedish version sound a lot more organic, makes sense seeing as he is Swedish.
Not used to hearing Mike sing in his native language, so weird haha.

It's Prog Opeth, yea. Production is good, agreed

I'm used Mikes native language from "Den Standiga Resan", bonus track from Watershed. And also his Swedish band Sorskogen.
All great material!

I didn't know he had a swedish band lul. Interesting

Haha yeah, but I think I prefer the Swedish version too, he sounds more natural or emotive compared to the English one. I like their decision to release both versions.
''Maybe like Watershed w/o the growls?'' Don't get your hopes up, it doesn't sound like Watershed at all, much closer to a better version of Sorceress.

Yeah he created Sorskogen with Dan Swano. I think they only made like 1 song or something, pretty good from what I remember. They used the chorus from that song for the chorus of "To Rid the Disease" if I remember correctly

That's cool, will check.
How good is Axe on the new single? Such a crazy, flamboyant drummer but still maintains a solid loose rhythm consistently.

Yes, Axe is a phenomenal drummer. Very versatile, especially going from stuff like this to Bloodbath.

It does sound like parts from Lotus Eater, Burden and Porcelain Heart, all with a good ole' mix of well produced/written Sorceress-esque sound.
