I'm sorry, but these irritating, indecipherable, godawful dying cat shrieks and monotonous, mind-numbingly dull wall of noise guitars make this completely unlistenable for me. I am by no means a close-minded listener of music, but I just cannot comprehend the amount of hard-ons people have for this band. I guess I'm not hip enough for this post-metal bullshit.

Well that's your opinion. My opinion is that this band is extremely overrated. Both are equally valid. And Deafheaven don't quite qualify as black metal.
