@evilford One of the best, definitely. I wouldn't necessarily say it beats Hoglan, but Reinert's work with Death and Cynic was groundbreaking. Gordian Knot and Aeon Spoke were good too.

@Irony: Sean definitely beats Gene as far as the bodies of work are concerned. Look at all the different things Sean pulled off with Cynic, Death, Gordian Knot, Aghora. He plays with a style and flair that is beyond metal. Gene is one of the best metal drummers, hands-down, but that seems to be all he does.
