For some reason, I thought Yellow Submarine was your favourite Beatles, Trif.

Hahahaha best burn!

In all honesty that one and Let It Be are the only ones I do not own and have never heard.

That was not a burn! I swear!

I think my memory played a dirty trick on me.

For some reason I never bought them. I'll put them on my list.

Yellow Submarine is a soundtrack right?

Is anybody’s fave actually Yellow Submarine? That has to be an absolute impossibility doesn’t it?

I wouldn't know, but judging by the quality of the others it would be an enormous surprise agreed.

As expected, this is perfect. Just, what a band this was. When people call this the greatest band that ever was I believe it, I really do.

How do we know?

According to my metrics Rolling Stones were once considered the second best band in the world but they slipped down to about 17th place.

Probably the first 'perfect' rock album, as in song sequencing being part of the broader composition, but I think Steely Dan's Aja topped that goal later on with it's unreal production and musician virtuosity.

I would say that most people would agree with you Wubs, only the album would be Sgt Peppers, which years ago seemed to be the fave, not sure why; although the sequesncing on SGT may be more original and thoughtful, since this was kind of a happy accident. White album and this IMO though, then maybe RS
