What album are you talking about? Animals has incredible lyrics.
|

Animals has some of the best lyrics I've ever read. Demigod must be high yo.

"this is clearly better than Animals which is why Sputnik favors the latter"
Cleary? lol
Animals "clearly" has better musicianship, is more polished, and probably better lyrics. Only reason I might lean towards DSOTM is there is still some psychedelic / space rock elements too it, and I love old Floyd.

better lyrics

Animals has way better lyrics. The rest is only really a slight edge to Animals and Animals has Floyd's best ever song (Dogs).

The lyrics here are amazing, haven't you heard Roger describe the concepts on VH1's Classic Albums. That shit is tight son

agreed. and this has the perfect concept.
|

Both have amazing lyrics.
The lyrics on Animals just edge it for me though. One of the most interesting and well thought out concept albums ever written.

well i am a sad old man so

No it's not plagiarized. It was inspired by Animal Farm (a book not another music album) and Waters has openly said that's what it's based on.

i was talking about Animals, it has the superior musicianship and lyrics imo. just less variety

i realize it was based on animal farm. plagiarized was probably the wrong term, though. how about "unoriginal" instead?
|
| |
In that case I agree, demi.

this does have any colour you like, literally, this album is a fucking rainbow
|
| |
@Dom: It wasn't unoriginal either. How many other albums can you name released before (or after) Animals that was lyrically based on the themes a dystopian novel?

yeah i'm sure no one else has ever done that *cough1984cough*. i mean, you are aware of the lyrical content of bowie's diamond dogs album (1974), right?
