I think my fav could be Wherever I May Roam. It's cheesy but it's such a self-affirming blast to headbang to. So catchy and with a sweet riff.

First two tracks are such a hard filter for me. Shit is so lacking in energy. Holier Than Thou kicks ass, but then you hit The Unforgiven which slows tf down again. It just feels like every other song on here has the same beat and same-y riffs. Will never understand the praise for this. Death Magnetic did it infinitely better

I saw this 5'd on someone here's ratings & had to think for a second which album this was. And even then I totally thought it was their 2016 album or whatever, until I clicked on it. So weird to see it referred to as "Metallica"

I don't give a shit about Masters of Lightning and other previous albums, they're for traditional metalheads. The Black Album is a next-gen forward thinking Pop masterpiece that's fun to listen to in any situation. It also a has a cartoonish devilish vibe similar to Cuphead games, I find that sexy.
