No, they definitely changed amps. It's an auto-profiled patch of the Peavey amps Fredrik and the band were given for their sponsorship, they didn't renew their Mesa/Boogie contract, and it sounds muddy compared to what they'd been using for a long time. It's like a bad Kemper profiling of a 6505. When you're going back to them after years of Mesa Boogies, you gotta tune it to a better guitar tone.

I mean tvsor is like their second best album personally and it's heavy as fuuccckkkkkk so naturally this is a step down for me but it ain't bad by any means

Yeah this started out as top tier Meshuggah for me, but unfortunately this is getting a bit lower down my list over time unlike Violent Sleep which rose over time for me



Ligature Marks is still the best workout song of the year this came out tho
