Firstly, I knew my comment would bait you.
And to answer your question, I just don't hear the appeal of this sound. I don't like the obvious focus on dissonance nor the relentless assault of all the instruments at any given time. I feel like I can jump to multiple points in this 50 minute album and I won't be able to hear a difference.
However, I have just recently started to appreciate Gorguts' Obscura album so maybe this is a work in progress.

There is something special about this. Some people have made note of an "atmospheric sludge" influence. But I think its much more than that, something unique. Not as crazy as Crimson Massacre though.
