I mean that his vocals are my favorite part. Not all about him in the sense you're thinking haha

Mongi what 'bout Danny? He's probably the greatest progressive metal drummer of all time, and even if Adam's guitar work isn't as complicated as what the rhythm section is doing, the guitars are still fucking amazing.

I think the beauty of the guitar work is in the composition as much as it is in the execution, if not more so

I mean I jump back and forth between my favorite but more often than not it ends up being maynard. One of my favorite singers ever.

Ya Maynard's lyics (usually) and singing are amazing, and agreed ford, can't forget all the effects and techniques the guitars use too.

The trippy effects they use in Reflection is astounding. One of the coolest drumming motifs ever too well done Danny.

yeah some of his lyrics aren't great but that clearly wasn't what he was going for. like the lyrics in Rosetta Stoned are retarded but that song still rules hard as fuck. but yeah when he wants to make a song interesting, he's one of the best.

Reflection uses repetition in such a powerful and effective way, and is one of the reasons it's my favorite on here, despite the title track and The Grudge having more variety. Something about the hypnotic, adventurous qualities in Reflection just get me every time, truly an experience just like the 10X Days t/t.

Maynard is by far the worst thing about Tool.

That's pretty ignorant to say. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he's not necessary.
