Yeah i dont know what i was blabbering about honestly. Had a couplabeers. Death magnetic is definitely better. But load is a fun album. Probably a lot of nostalgia but there are a lot of pretty good hooks

Great tune. Their best post-One “ballad”. And yeah whoever decided to sequence that back to back with All Nightmare Long and then follow it up with Cyanide knows their shit because thats the best stretch of music on any Metallica album since the black album tbh

The production is a little off, but yeah it doesnt detract from it too much for me. James' vocals sound kinda goofy in spots. They're so up front and have zero reverb and it makes his hetfield-isms stick out more. The drum sound kinda sucks too but ive heard worse
