If it was completely random I'd be ecstatic beyond belief, if I could hand-pick from any music then they wouldn't be my first choice. I can't imagine it would be the most fitting. Hmm... guess it depends if you're completely stranded/in actual peril, or if you're just chilling on a beach by your lonesome.

Question no-one ever asks is what format/sound system you get stuck with on said island

You'd better pay the upgrade fee for decent desert island bandwidth

It's the player on your phone with some amazing Bluetooth speakers that happened to wash ashore with you + tent and food and solarpowered generator. The situation is perfect for enjoying music, you'll probably be found in a month or so.

I like this scenario/these odds a lot, can feel a decent list in the making ;]

Is the remix version better? At least on stream app, I put in quick side to side and the remix version is way too muffed...but maybe the side to side comparison didn't helped.

I like the original. The guitar is upfront and everything is clear enough as it is

Anyone else just love the harmonised death growls at the end of Wreath. So demented in the best possible way.

Wreath is underrated. Great track.

Wreath more than any other Opeth songs evokes a vivid imagery for me. It really nails that sense of calmly observing a grotesque scene of death and decay. SW's subtle atmospheric embellishments really add to the nightmare feel.
I agree second half can't compare to the first.
