This album i very atmospheric and still had a touch of that black metal ambience going on, so incredibly long wall of noise segments were to be expected. I don't find it boring, and if anything lets me be able to lay back and just soak in the progression of the song.

This is one of the few Opeth albums that holds my attention/keeps me entertained throughout.
