You concerned at all about Henry’s future with the team?

Yeah.
I guess for those who hadn't seen the news, we traded away Kevin Byard, our defensive cornerstone and one of our last veteran dudes on the roster. And it... hurts. Completely get why the move was made and whatever but it's basically the nail in the coffin for probably the first time we've ever had a bona fide SB window. And we squandered it spectacularly.
At this point, the roster is devoid of talent, aging, and in desperate need of a retool. Anyone is on the table at this point. I would love nothing more than for Henry to be a Titan eternally, but I realistically don't see where he factors in for a rebuilding Tennessee, and if he wants good pay and to be on a competitor, he's just not gonna get that here. The fair move is to get him somewhere where he can compete for a championship; we're out of the running for the next several years.

This of course is assuming Ran turns out to be a good GM and we're able to rebuild. That remains to be seen.

yeah I give Henry probably this year and next year of elite level performance so it might be a good time to cut and run anyways, but definitely tough to see.
that's exactly how i felt when JAX traded away all of their defensive killers like Calais Campbell, Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack, and then players like Allen Robinson and Fournette when they still had a decent window.
hopefully Vrabel has earned enough goodwill to stick it out, hes a good one.

Henry hit a top speed of nearly 21mph on a run this year, so dude's still got gas in the tank. So many stat-heads look at the numbers and fail to see how many of his attempts are dead on arrival due to our line being ass and ope there's now two defenders already in the backfield. When he manages to get into space, he's still got strength and breakaway speed.
One thing where he has faltered I'd say his sometimes his cuts leave a lot to be desired, but that seems natural giving his injury history.
But yeah overall not looking forward to being the aggressively mediocre forgettable Titans once again... per usual...

Vrabel's job should absolutely still be intact unless Ran wants to completely clean house for a rebuild. That kind of power move seems entirely unnecessary though and would be super out-of-character for the org, especially in the wake of Jon Robinson allegedly not collaborating with Vrabel. Kinda ruins the culture from the get-go lol

I see Henry getting traded to a contender in his final couple years in the league for solid compensation as the titans rebuild
Vrabel had a good iteration for a few years but just couldn't get to the final dance but now the roster needs to be gutted. It's just a matter of whether your owner is going to let him do the rebuild or someone else

If the Chiefs somehow land Henry I will actually throw a fit

I'd find someone like the Ravens or an NFC south team if one of them ever climbs out of the basement these next couple years to be more likely than the chiefs

I’m not looking forward to today…

Henry to the Ravens makes a lot of sense (do they have the cap to pull it off?) They seem to be the strongest link at the minute, get the feeling it probably won’t happen now though
