I feel I gave them enough of a chance. I wanted to turn it off after 10 minutes but went through with the whole thing. I get what they are doing with the music. Just too boring man. I dont know how else to put it.

I didn't mean to sound insulting. It definitely stands out in the genre but it's more subtle than other post rock albums so I'm just surprised that's all.

This was my first post rock record, I didn't even really knew what Post Rock was before I heard this, so I'm p sure this isn't the case

I dont know if I can say I dont like post rock? I dont know what that is supposed to be, and I dont usually go off of genre labels. I say that I tend to lean more towards heavier music, but I like at least some stuff out most genre's.

I dont know how to listen in different ways? Unless you mean I need to be on drugs. But I've been on enough drugs to know that if I dont like music sober I defintely dont like it high.

Why not try going on a long walk during a gloomy cloudy day? Did that one time and that's what made this ultimately click for me and it might do the same for you so give that a try sometime.
