lmaooo I couldn't deal with the 30 second porn previews back then. I was the guy hunting for the brazzers passwords.
|

That was the next level. And I remember those little shits would expire within a few day and then you'd gotta hunt again. Ahh, I'd never been to page 45 on a Google search ever in my life unless it was to search for porn usernames and passwords lmao

First listen through and I don’t think this is bad at all. It’s alright. That said, I only started listening to UO three weeks ago. I can completely understand the hatred of this album from people who grew up listening to their infinitely better albums. The stylistic change is quite a departure.
But Wake Me is the worst song I’ve heard by them. Just abysmal. Bloodlust is pretty shit as well.

Yeah, I wouldn't say I agree that Wake Me and Bloodlust are "shit", but they're def in the weaker echelon.

I don't hear how it's any worse than a standard average radio rock track, but I mean...

it’s as good as the average radio rock track but the average radio rock track is awful and it looks worse by being from fucking underoath. rapture and ihateit fall in the same category, albeit slightly better songs than wake me

"but the average radio rock track is awful"
I mean, alright I guess. I think we're coming from two different standpoints on radio rock and that's why I'm more willing to go to bat for it. Plus the vocals are better than most radio rock fare, at least better than the bootleg eddie vedders that plagued the scene

Bloodlust seems like a grower.. Best songs after one listen: on My Teeth, Hold Your Breath, No Frame, Sink With You and In Motion.
