Rob Zombie? Idk about that haha.
Production is better but still a bit too suffocating, they need Wilson back on the job.

Yeah! Wilson would do an awesome job with the production. This still sounds better than Sorceress, but maybe still slightly too muddy.

yeah idk wtf about zombie, and idk about this song either. Axe killing it as usual, and Fred's solo was sick, but the last three minutes are completely useless for me.
Granted, only one listen, but probably says a fair bit that I don't really want to go listen to it again.

The outro is great man, their most organic and most 'Opeth' one they've done for ages.

Hard disagree, but you digging it gives me hope that people don't just write this album off like they did Sorceress, which isn't nearly as bad as everyone says.

Ok, first thoughts after two spins:
Production is way better than the oversaturated cardboard here
Song doesn't grab me immediately
Outro is amazing
Sounds a little more electronic than we're used to

where's the dm tho

@Jac Gone forever.
Yeah, Joakim is WAY higher in the mix than usual, not a bad thing.
Getting a jazz fusion vibe in some segments.

Moon Above is just a ripoff of Harlequin Forest's outro.
