people (on sputnik*) enjoy being outraged these days about baseless claims that an album and/or band suck without legitimate explanation. They are also rarely open to opposing viewpoints even when they are giving proper reasoning for their opinion. It just becomes an attack session. I'm convinced they feed off it.

you don't have to agree with the message to enjoy the music tho

Snoop Dogg's been having a kind of embarrassing fit about Kanye (though it's also really funny, seriously check his instagram)

"Kanye that is mighty white of you"

I hate how black people do that "all black people must think the same way" shit. No other race requires it.

More or less what is most surprising is Kanye embracing the self-victimization of blacks preached by Candace Parker more than anything else, it directly contradicts many songs in his discography, which makes it all the more jarring.

Dude can support whatever he wants, and I'm not entirely surprised he like's Trump and his dragon energy, they both have a lot in common when it comes to their egos.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was all some sort of publicity stunt in the end.

Yeah. Luckily he's a likable guy and has a good personal brand. @Rowhaus

I don't think people realize (maybe some do) how much of an anti black American culture album Yeezus is.

Bush is actually really great. Production is perfect and snoop's singing rules.

@someguest I don't know about all that. I mean New Slaves is about how no matter how much wealth you attain, you are always going to be viewed as less than from society at large because you are black.

Which seems to directly contradict what he is saying now.

pharrell is one of the worst things in all of music I've yet to encounter, it's not necessarily snoop I hate on the album
