Oh yeah for sure, I was just trying to think of other bands at that time that were starting the whole unorthodox chaotic style of dm. Those other 3 bands that I mentioned all have heavy traces of bm as well.

Yeah, def has some Immolation vibe here. I like to think this is death metal + post-metal most brutal child. Also, some similiar vibe can be found on Buried Inside's Chronoclast.

drumming is technically good but very annoying and distracting but I only really like some guitar parts in this one

I used to have a big issue with this band overall for the drums being too damn loud and constantly stealing the focus from everything else, I've gotten used to it after listening to them a lot and now it's just part of their identity to me. Did take a long time for me to get over it though.
