How is Deicide left off that list. Either ST or Legion should be in anyone's top 5.

Glenn Benton is a bit of a fuck, but nothing can deny their early work.

Haha thought it was time for a change m/ Been feeling really nostalgic after the Death to All tour.

Just heard that Overkill/Kreator is playing here in November, can't wait for that shit as well.

I am sure this album has been praised to Death enough.

The album opens amazing and ends amazing.

However, there are 2 problems with this album.

DiGiorgio's bass playing is not audible on certain tracks. For a player of his caliber it's not fair to have it so low. For a technical death metal album you would expect it to be better.

Second problem is the solos. Spiritual Healing destroys this album in solos. Chuck and James Murphy were the best guitar duo Death had. Chuck has some great solos on this album like Secret Face. Paul's solo on Flattening Of Emotions was great, credit deserved. However, they still do not come close to Spiritual Healing.

James Murphy smokes Paul Masvidal.

The remaster actually takes care of a lot of this.
