i don't read much of those metal blogs anymore. most of them seem to have some sort of agenda beyond just enjoying the music. i used to read metalsucks and it was hilarious to see some of the bands they were claiming as the next coming.

The metal injection interviews are usually pretty fun to watch though. Or at least they were when I was younger and was a huge BTBAM fan.

I should 4 this just because of Folklore. And I don't get all the hate for Famine, it's not top 5 on here but still a great song.

Marrow of the Earth is also their best instrumental since Epilogue

I don't even recall them doing an instrumental since Deliverance, and it's not like For Absent Friends is hard to beat either!

haha I guess they just have a few 1 minute long ones, in fact Epilogue might be their only other one thats over 3 minutes long

Famine is hated here? Damn it's like my favourite song off this record

It's not hated but it seems like every time people analyze the songs or rank them Famine is almost always at the bottom

Famine is definitely not my favorite of the record but certainly in the top 5. Folklore and Haxpröcess rule them all

*Folklore and I Feel The Dark. Haxprocess is good but definitely overrated on sputnik.

The new single hasn't gotten me excited about the next album unfortunately

i agree. that will definitely be your opinion. no one else will agree, but you will think that

Hahaha, it's so easy to get a rise out of you Emyay bro ;)

In all seriousness I'm not actually all that confident that this will rule, if there's any more songs like Cusp (talking in terms
of quality, or rather the lack of) then it's quite likely it will be rather mediocre.

What do you think about the new song that has leaked, Eternal Rains Will Come? I find it much better than Cusp of Eternity, though I loved the last one too.

Marrow of the Earth is a good instrumental but lacks variety. However it's the outro so I'll simply justify it.

''For absent friends'' is so smooth and bittersweet. That moment at 00:50 is pure heaven.

They've also made ''Ending Credits'', which is excellent.
