Marrow is awesome and I like Serpent more than a lot of people around here too, but never again will they touch the first 3 albums, which is among the best 3 album stretches in metal.

Serpent is right up there with the rest of their classics and marrow isn't far behind. Faustian and the white are amazing as well

Atmosphere on PF is mainly what I love most about it. Something about the cold energy it gives off just draws me to it more than anything else.
Idk how you could put Serpent or even Marrow on the same level as the first 3 though, even though they're both great.

I was pretty late too but honestly I think the biggest issue is people disregarded that album too quickly. It was a huge grower for me and took many listens for me to really appreciate
