OMG. Get the complete series (it was cancelled half way through the first season). It is like, the best high school show ever. Because it's actually true and relatable. Plus awesome tunes and stuff.

School isn't in the slightest like that here, here you have 8 classes a day, each being 40 mins long. Then you have a 15 min break and another 40 min one. Then you go home at 3:45. Nothing ever happens, it's pretty much the most miserable, boring place in existence.

Similar to school nowadays. Cept our only break is lunch, and we only have 6 50-ish minute classes. But yeah, before Columbine(a few kids went on a rampage in school, killing students and teachers) school was much more lax. But now, you can hardly get in or out without being asked questions. Cops and adults everywhere watching over anything. Pretty much no freedom whatsoever. Hans and some of the older gents could probably educate you better, on what it was like back in the day though.
