Well, I'm assuming that, being that it's a screamo band and all.

I don't care about the production really, It's more that I wish they had distinguishable riffs and that the vocalists were better. And that if they're gonna be all spastic and throw song structure out the window (which is totally fine btw), they should bridge the gaps between parts somehow so it isn't so jolting and actually gives the impression of a story rather than of a shitty hardcore album with a pussy vocalist thrown into a blender and badly taped back together.

That's just me though.

I have, not too shabby. The thing about all of these Emo bands is that even though a lot of them sound alike, they still make freaking great albums.

5'd Old Pride. Posted the news article about their new track. Saw them in a cramped shed in someone's back yard with like 30 other people.

So yes, haha.

There are definite trends in screamo and most bands can easily be lumped into one of the major sounds that are happening right now, but the different styles definitely have distinct sounds.

I wasn't meaning they sound "just" alike, just the similarities are very prominent, especially in the Post-Rock influenced ones. I wasn't saying Pianos sounded like this, it just sounds very similar to others.

true.and not just the few,new ones(this is why I mentioned PBTT,I think it's one of the few NEW bands that make good screamo music these days-),but all those disbanded screamo groups that I still havent checked(pg.99,off minor,I hate myself etc) AND emo groups (like ordination of aaron, cross my heart etc)are awesome.especially from the second genre,I've only listened to ethel meserve, which I loved, but it's gonna take me a reaaaally long time to check all these bands -.-

you'll get sick of it and just wind up listening to the same 'popular' (relatively speaking) bands eventually
