I think there's a big hiccup between Dagger and the bonus tracks. Dagger is the perfect ending to me, it touches your soul.

Do you have a favorite shoegaze album Sandwhich?

Basic choice, but: Loveless.
But Swirlies have two very close contenders, maybe one day one of their first two albums will take my top spot

They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days In the Glittering World of the Salons is better than this album, there I said it.
But Swirlies fall closer to indie rock than pure shoegaze.

I get what your saying, boney. I prefer "shoegazing elements" to pure droney shoegaze I guess. (That probably doesn't make much sense to anyone except me, but I'm sticking with it).
"Teenage Filmstars - Star" might be a better pick for a 2nd place shoegaze album.

There is no question that Loveless is a better and more consistent album, and it is a perfect record to me too, but there are definitely a lot of times where I am enjoying this one more as a whole. The songwriting here is just incredible, and I feel like while MBV's songwriting is also incredible, the focus is almost always on Kevin Shield's guitar work and effects, with the lyrics and vocals being shadowed.
