Theres only two mebbe three good songs off this album, American Idoit, Holiday and BOBD. I dont mind there new political view but, the rest of the album is quite boring. I have enjoyed Green Day's music upto Warning where good songs became sparse. Oh well maybe Green Days next album will show signs of improvement. I'd personally give the album 2/5

I'm not gonna go on about selling out, I just plain dislike this album. I prefer the older greenday material to this. I also think that the band has drawn away from their music and has gotten more into image and policical statements. But I'm pobably gonna stick to dookie and the two albums before that.

This is probly the Sgt Pepers Heart Club Band of my generation.

I have to admit, I don't care that much for pop-punk, but Green Day is a pretty decent band.

Fuck up about this album it is great for the time its one of the only albums of a good band that talks about different things from its usual, of course Dookie is better but not by much

Green Day are insanely Shit, they take the piss out of musical talent. My 7 year old female cousin loves them along with Busted, The Noise Next Door and Freefaller.

American Idiot is probably one of the worst green day songs ever produced. But getting away from that jesus of suburbia is an amazing song aswell as whatshername which is underrated in my view

green day is just another mediocore-three-piece-wanna-be-blink-but-don't-have-the-talent (ala mxpx) have not even tried expanding their style in the last thousand years so you could buy their first and last record, play it to a person who's never heard either before and they'd never know which was first. They show no evidence of evolving musically. Geez bands like nfg at least they've grown in their last album but fark green day i don't think i could find a bigger threesome of guys who love bush. At least blink have done other things like boxcar, transplants etc. and brought the sound back to blink.. and best of all blink knew when to call it a day.. greenday still don't after the last 5 years
