this is my least favorite ISIS lp. and it's still excellent. I definitely like the concept, and it gets points for that. but I did not feel the album, musically as much as their others.
Dulcinea and Holy Tears are great. Has anyone else noticed that the heavy section at the end of Dulcinea is eerily similar to Triad by Tool?

1000 shards is really good. I think this is my 2nd favorite Isis after Panopticon.

what if, like...their music could take human form. female form...then you could totally get you some with certain ISIS albums. Oceanic may be their best album, but probably not the best to make love not warcraft with. I mean Oceanic? Sounds way too damn loose for my taste. Celestial...thats like space right? Too loose. Panopticon...so everyone is watching me from some tower while I'm getting it on..haha yeah, no. In the Absence of Truth...sounds like a liar. Liar's cheat. No bueno. Wavering Radiant...sounds like some awesome position that I ain't ever even heard about yet. She sounds experienced and awesome.
So in summary, Wavering Radiant is the best album by this band. The end.
