Bannon does sing about a fairly large variety of things; most of them are very angry though. Black Cloud I know is about like terminal bad luck. Eagles Become Vultures I'm pretty sure is about a close friend of his becoming a whore. The Saddest Day was about some religious epiphany of his. If you watch the Youtube videos, sometimes you can get a full in depth description of what the lyrics mean in mid song rants.
