Ghost is my current song of the year, absolute banger of an opening to this amazing album. Still shocked they stuck the landing after all this time.

That breakdown in the intro of ghost is such a complex piece of music, so brilliant. Still kinda salty they don't bring it back later in the song

This album has made re-obsess so much about this band, that I'm gonna fly to Paris on purpose to see them next month (coming from Portugal). In one day, out the next day. I have to see them live.

Well, the sound engineering in Progresja was shit. Kenny was barely audible half of the time, the bass underwent atrocious feedback, Animation turned to a wall of noise and the playback of bagpipes in Salva was a skull-splitter. Also made me realize how insanely boring some of these new songs are and how hard Themata mops the floor with this album.

But when it was good, it was good. Got a nice shirt, the crowd energy during the Sound Awake tracks was beautiful and I got to hear Roquefort. 6.5/10 gig.

arth, i'm sorry the sound wasn't good, but having Themata's songwriting over this is absolutely either a drunk/high take or just plain bad taste

Plain bad taste unless I got high off my cough syrup. In Verses is fine, but lacks both the cool factor and the emotional power of Themata. The only exceptions are Opal and the first half of Salva.

I can't wait till this receives some kind of major American vinyl release. I can't stomach paying $80-$100 for an album, unless it's an all-time favorite, and I like this quite a bit, but not quite that much!

Was at the London show last night. Fucking excellent as always. Felt so happy for them to get such a reception and they looked like they were beaming. Knocked it out the park, awesome band live.

Agreed. The show I went to was a failure from the technical angle, but the performance and their chemistry with the audience were great. Glad to read everything worked fine over there in England.

Also,
"Salva is magnificent, what the fuck guys you have no feels?"
yes but at the same time, no.
