Thought we might had lost them but here we are yet again. Fantastic comback after a very much restrained and dry Noktvrn. The ferocity, the drama, the beauty, it's all here. No setbacks, no gaps. Marter, ten minutes of pure brilliance. Eos, mesmerizing piece with throat singing and primal black metal parts. Fragment, beautiful transition from calm to madness. And of course those haunting two minutes of slightly of tune early XX century piano on Finisterre III. Only sorta out of place thing is Forlorn, co-written by Kamprad and Rausch which kinda shows. And English still doesn't suit them either.
Regards to Nikita for handling all things regarding production this time, definitely put that sound engineer experience to good use. The sound is tight and rich, not replicating any of the previous albums and delivering everything the right way.
