i can't put it into words but George's harsh vox have always been a huge appeal of the band for me. there's something about them that sounds so uniquely...haunted, especially on this album.

I have several issues with OCHL. I didn’t notice them first few listens but there are a lot of weird choices. You Without End’s ending (first 2/3rds or so is fine). The whole Night People is terrible. That song just falls apart from the moment it starts. I do however love Near.
