As someone who really likes (but doesn't quite love) Defeated Sanity, I'd have to put this in my top 3.

SI is a complex beast and took many moons to dissect. I remember not liking it much at all to begin with. Now it’s my #1



I’m still deciding where this stands, but it’s maybe relatively accessible (for them). Idk, hard to tell when you’ve broken yourself in and succumbed to their formula, so maybe past experience just makes it seem that way

This just beats out Sanguinary for me but only cuz Chapters is my fav DS. This sounds like a marriage between those two albums and I love it

Im really torn. I don't think I'll be able to decide between this and SI until I've been as acquainted with this one. Both are top shelf dm, without a shadow of a doubt. At this point it's like, idk, this album is a victory lap. What do you when there's no competition left? Keep driving.
