Enjoying frownland but this has the same issue as the last album for me. The start/stop chugging and the constant transitioning from spoken word to harsh vocals gets old very fast

Come as you are has to be their most influential song surely, especially the melancholic two chord chorus that became a mainstay in alt metal / post grunge / nu metal. Also their only song I still enjoy after hundreds of listens

Thats why GC is probably a 5 for me at this point. Its just so unhinged and nuts. Its like the closest thing I've found thats like a psych ward in music form.
