I heard Neck is where they really started toning down the fuzz (before pretty much eliminating it on Better Nature) so I've been apprehensive about listening to either of those

well they tone it down but like throughout all 4 albums they are distinctively SSPU. like imo they never really change too much but because they are so consistent any tweak in their sound is looked at as a huge change for them

Waste it On is still a good track tbh I just think it's the weakest. but I was listening to this on a long car ride and I was like yeah this is so fucking good. I honestly enjoy every song and Common Reactor is a perfect closer

i don't really get the hate for waste it on, it's one of my favourite tracks here, the noise influenced/driven solo is so good (not to mention it has some of the best work from the rhythm section)
