that respect eachothers views is a two lane street, conservatives do not respect any modern liberal views so it's a paradox where two hypocrites are poised against each other saying 'i know you are but what am i.' and as for the border-policy the truth is biden has done nothing to get rid of all the policies trump had in place, the first 2-3 years of his presidency you'd have liberal media like huffingtonpost bitching about how he's operating it 'just like trump' every few weeks. hell you'd even find right-wing sites at that time purporting that biden is actually the tyrant and is even stricter than trump[with their angle being he's a hypocrite].

but yeah i changed my affiliation from republican to independent when trump got elected. both parties are fucked and i just think they should be held to the same level of values, when it comes to dishonesty and hypocrisy: having some rapist that fucks pornstars while his wives pregnant probably shouldn't be the face of the party which is presenting itself as having 'Christian values.'
