I've seen generally positive things about it. Like you, I wasn't familiar with him either. I just liked the album cover so I bought it. Lol
It's got stuff on it I like, so maybe with more time I'll come around to it.

I bought Belle and Sebastian's If You're Feeling Sinister because I liked the name of the band and the cover - didn't even know what type of music it was. Turned out to be my favourite album of all time and a big part of the reason I moved to the UK.

Aaw that's a cool story. I like that.
Admittedly, I don't buy albums on cover or name that often. I usually have some idea about what I'm picking up, but it can turn over some real gems. I've never been left utterly disappointed in a random purchase. Not as far as I can recall.
