This sounds like literally ever other modern metalcore album. Euphoria is pretty good but its effect is cancelled out by Antimatter and Anunnaki.

Confirmed, along with Thornhill and Paledusk, as supports for the Polaris EU/UK tour early next year. Next march I' ll be eatin' good!

I revisited this a bunch over the past week and while I do definitely like it and think my rating is appropriate, just something about it doesn't feel super replayable outside a few songs. Felt that way about the last album too

That's how I feel about this band as a whole lol. Solid af but something keeps me from coming back.

think the peaks/valleys are more exaggerated here than iridescent but generally agree that these albums are like a step or two away from being remarkable but arent quite there. lowk think they could benefit from taking a little more time putting together the next one instead of churning out material as quickly as they do

I like it as background music when I'm playing games or something, but I also listen to the Doom soundtrack for that purpose a lot too. Lyrics are pretty interesting as usual though

yep agree to Jay hard
I’ve always only been able to enjoy a handful of their standout tracks vs any of their albums as a whole

The Night God Slept and Everything Was Sound are incredible and I love them dearly, but the loss of key songwriters since then have clearly left a hole on my repeated enjoyment of their stuff from When The End Began onwards

major shame the main writers have left because garrett sounds so much better now than he did 10 years ago lol

I actually don’t mind WTEB (it’s up there as my favorite) because I feel they perfected the inclusion of their cleans on that one. Everything after got a bit less creative and intentional and more box-ticking of ok we got a chorus
Also while this band still has a vibe and atmosphere, I miss the old school doomy/ethereal/suspense side of it. Now it’s more industro leaning and it’s fine but I prefer the older style.
