@porcupinetheater That's cool. I promise I won't play this at the bbq.

@Fort23 There's one line I do agree with in the review:

"...its tendency to feature the same riffs and lyrics rehashed for new songs"

This is 100% true.

The vocal melodies and delivery is so robotic and the instruments are out of tune and don't lock in with each other at all... and yet this is so listenable wtf

1.5 very poor Hanusko | May 26th 16

Strong 1.5 - KoRn's overrated album yay, I take it, it was the first Nu-metal release, it might be influential, but is it anywhat good ? WELL not really, Davis is just the worst whinney kid behind the microphone, mainly on this one, and the rest of the band, their so tidious, the bass gets boring extremely fast, those drum sticks are fucking with my head right from the start and the guitar playing, well pretty decent. I can't look at this without comparing it to the first deftones release, which came out just couple of months later, and even though I do not really like that one either, It's much better than this

"objectivity in art"? of course it's meaningless, i could record the sounds of my erect dick banging against a hollow metal table and call it art

2.5 average Britch2tiger | May 5th 16

Being a pioneer doesn't necessarily earn high marks in terms of genre crafting, and such an example can be found w/ Cromagnon's Orgasm album in regards to industrial music...
