I don't know if the band can continue without Ahren. His vocals create a lot of this bands identity. Honestly, I've been fatigued by this bands sound for ages, but now that he's gone maybe I'll give their last few another shot.

Band can go on easily. Ahrens vocals have honestly sounded bored and over produced for a long arse time now. His cleans are so processed because his voice is fucked from drugs and chain smoking

The dramas getting worse, Ahrens trying to take Joel to court over the bands trademark now

This is all just embarrassing at this point.
It's a real shame they shit canned him but it's for the best really. He hasn't added anything to the band since Ocean.

Amity with a clean vocalist that actually sounds like he wants to be there and whose voice isnt buried as fuck by effects

New guy sounds awesome. I hate to kick a man while he's down but Ahren...kinda sucked really hard at the clean singing thing? Sure he could hit the notes but he had a really grating tone and i always kinda had to force myself to like him to get into this band. now I'm excited to hear what comes next

Ahrens also started a new band with some dude from Volumes who had addiction problems its called Self checkout apparently. Ahren started off alright as a singer but as the years dragged on he fucked his voice with smoking, drinking just listen to how much his vocals are touched up on albums, he sounds downright artificial or bored on some of them

No lies there at all Pika
I only have a half a horse in the run with this band. Teenage nostalgia and my person loves the band, i think they still do. So i check in on them every once in awhile and yeah they arent doing anything new or groundbreaking

New clean vocalist is good. I won't give up on them. It feels more affliction than amity now though.

KoG guy is a good fit but man it feels weird without Ahren. Him and Joel had the best chemistry on the first three albums and it honestly doesn't feel the same without him. (as much of a douche he has become nowadays)
New song is pretty slappy tho. They prob could have just gone the no cleans route. They pulled it off with I See Dead People and that seemed like a logical next step. I'll give Reeves a chance tho

I just hope Jonny isn't done with KoG because he's such an essential piece of that group.

I saw that lol, apparently their band is gonna be called Self Checkout (hard name ngl) and there will be rapping. What a strange timeline.
