BMTH are constantly ahead of the curve, they have Porter Robinson influence in their new album. One of the few bands that are constantly forward thinking. "Yes it's not. This is just generic modern metalcore. BMTH are constantly ahead of the curve, they have Porter Robinson influence in their new album. One of the few bands that are constantly forward thinking."

And you wonder why people give you shit

As if Tundra didn't make himself look bad enough he has to also reference the artist of one of the worst albums I've heard in the past decade.

Calling BMTH forward thinking is one of the most ridiculous statements I've seen on this site. It's fine to be a fan as many are but forward thinking? Seriously? All they do is follow trends

I’ll edit it to relisten, because I barely remember it LMAO

Might be enough of a statement tbh, though I still regularly spin Living in Tragedy

Doing a whole discog re-listen for these guys and honestly the thing that jumps out at me right away is the production is awful? Like did they intentionally try to make it sound like you're listening to this on blown out speakers? I guess they were going for that wall of noise effect but it just sounds like mud

Lol yeah, just finished re-listening and this holds up better than I remember but holy shit the production is actually trash. Surprised I wasn't more annoyed by this when it initially came out.

New single is pretty thick. Already sounds a lot less formulaic than this whole album

"God Ben is such a good vocalist"

You're mixing up Wiseman's frontmen lol. Ben is SoI, Brian is Currents. But yeah, he's amazing. Single is good, still lacking in RIFFS (which is what I want more than anything else at this point) but overall feels more inspired than a lot of this album.

I can't even listen to this without fixating on the production. I probably like this album, I just don't ever want to listen to it. They need to join the recent trend of banger remixes and get this shit fixed up.
