This album did absolutely nothing for me. I need to revisit it.

it's a fun spin, but yeah, not really an album with longevity for me either

I gave this another listen yesterday. I think not only is it Björk's worst album, its just a fucking boring listen. I can do pretentious Björk (i love medulla), but this is just... bad

Still think Volta is her worst. This is at least interesting and not grating to listen to

Has a couple strong songs but some just dont make for good listening. Sade wipes the floors with Bjork at the end of the day. IMO Bjork is quantity over quality.

Personal Standout Tracks on 1st Listen:

Ancestress

Allow

Fungal City

Fossora

In fairness, if you only gave Homogenic and Vespertine 3.5, then Björk was never going to be quite your thing, so huge kudos to make it through her entire discography.

I've enjoyed following your journey.

My ranking:

1 Vespertine 5.0

2 Homogenic 4.5

3 Debut 4.0

4 Fossora 4.0

5 Vulnicura 4.0

6 Post 3.5

7 Biophilia 3.5

8 Utopia 3.0

9 Medulla 3.0

10 Volta 2.5

Yeah vespertine had some very strong songs but some that did not have much going on. Debut-vespertine is for sure her strong material!

I finished all the official albums. I saw on Spotify she has a ton of singles, soundtrack songs, etc so I gotta get those and put them on my ipod. Which live version of biophilia should I get?
